We need to see Sofia Wylie and Sophia Anne Caruso as Elphaba and Glinda now!

The School for Good & Evil’s Sofia Wylie and Sophia Anne Caruso have revealed that they want to star in Wicked together.

Yesterday (Oct 19), Paul Feig's highly anticipated adaptation of Soman Chainani's The School for Good and Evil debuted on Netflix. The movie follows best friends Sophie (Sophia Anne Caruso) and Agatha (Sofia Wylie) and their journey as they are taken to a magical school where all is not as it seems. On top of that, there are five more books for Netflix to still adapt.

In honour of the release of The School for Good & Evil, we caught up with Sofia and Sophia to talk all thinks The School for Good and Evil. The stars also let slip who their favourite witches are and Sofia even responded to the rumours that Disney icons Zac Efron and Vanessa Hudgens will both appear in High School Musical: The Musical: The Series season 4.

When asked who the most iconic witch of all time is, Sofia explained: "I just saw Wicked for the first time a couple of months ago and I really liked to see the background of the Wicked Witch of the West. I really liked seeing that because she doesn’t seem as villainous. She’s the protagonist basically but then she still makes evil decisions."

Sophia then chimed in to say: "I think Steve Nicks if we’re talking real witches." When asked if they'd ever experimented in withcraft, Sophia then nodded and revealed that she had done a Ouija Board. However, Sofia said: "I just don’t mess with those things cause I don’t want to invite it into my world. No witchiness here."

The girls then revealed what musical they'd star in if they did one together. Sofia immediately responded: "Hamilton! We could be the Schyler Sisters!" and Sophia agreed: "Great choice. Fantastic."

We then suggested that the girls would be great as Elphaba and Glinda in Wicked together and Sofia said: "That would actually be so sick. Like a teen, young adult version. Let’s do it."

Given that Elphaba and Glinda share a similar relationship to Sophie and Agatha, we couldn't think of a better duo.

We also asked Sofia about the rumours that Zac Efron and Vanessa Hudgens are in High School Musical: The Musical: The Series season 4, blink if they are. Sofia then blinked by accident and giggling said: "I just blinked but I'm not confirming anything. That's just my bodily actions".

She then added: "I cannot confirm or deny. I think anything is possible and, would I love for that to happen, 100%. Do I know if it's going to? 0%. I don't know."
