Did Tom and Lisa Bilyeu buy the $40 million house on Selling Sunset?

In between the drama and glamour of Netflix's Selling Sunset, we just live for spying on all the luxury real estate Los Angeles has to offer – especially the mega mansions. Whether it's Adnan Sen's $75 million property, or the sprawling $40 million mansion in the Hollywood Hills, we want to know all the details. So, who actually sold the $40 million mansion and, most importantly, who ended up buying it?

We're first introduced to the home in Season 1 when it's still just a construction site. The Oppenheim Group bosses, Brett and Jason Oppenheim, give their team of realtors a tour of the sprawling 20,000 square foot property and are met with delighted squeals.

By Season 2, the house had transformed, boasting five bedrooms, nine bathrooms, four hot tubs, a 175-foot linear pool with a waterfall that flows into an atrium garden, a 15-car garage and a 15-foot outdoor television that rises up from the floor and can be seen from any room. However, it still hadn't sold.

Jason Oppenheim decided to keep the buyers of the $40 million house a closely guarded secret. Speaking to Metro.co.uk, he said: "It was not someone who I would class as a celebrity. It was a very wealthy young couple and quite an impressive young couple."

Although Jason didn't name the buyers, Variety reported that Tom and Lisa Bilyeu, co-founders of the food company Quest nutrition, bought the house. Lisa has since posted several photos of herself enjoying the mansion's iconic wraparound pool and garden.
