Tom's reaction to spilling a spoiler about the Far From Home plot is priceless.

It's that time again! National treasure, everyone's son and the guy who simply cannot be trusted with top secret information about the plots of the films he is currently working on, Tom Holland is back at it again on the promo trail for Spider-Man: Far From Home and he's giving out spoilers like free samples on the high street.

Tom is currently in Bali, promoting the upcoming sequel to Spider-Man: Homecoming (and final film in Marvel's Phase Three). At an event, he was asked a couple of questions about the movie and when asked about what Jake Gyllenhaal's character, Mysterio, would be up to in the movie, Tom spilled a pretty key element in the film's main plot.

Zendaya hilariously calls out Tom Holland's NSFW tag on Instagram

"Mysterio is my new best friend in the movie. We fight together to fight these creatures... because when Thanos snaps his fingers, these creatures come from other dimensions..." he said, before someone shouted "SPOILER!" from the crowd.

To be fair, Nick Fury does say that the snap tore a whole in the dimension in the trailer so whether you consider what Tom said a spoiler or not, it's kind of implied anyway... but that still doesn't make Tom's reaction to almost spoiling too much any less funny.

In the new trailer (you know, the one with all those devastating Tony Stark Endgame spoilers), Peter Parker faces off against some pretty huge monsters (that we now know are from other dimensions), and Mysterio, who is introduced as an ally from another version of Earth, is there to help.

Of course, despite what the trailer might suggest, it's been heavily rumoured that Jake Gyllenhaal's Mysterio will actually turn out to be a villain.

'Spider-Man: Far From Home' trailer just dropped and the memes are already amazing

And now, a new collection of Far From Home toys have also seemed to confirm that plot twist. On the back of a Mysterio action figure, the description reads: “Mysterio is a master of illusion and a sworn enemy of Spider-Man.”

WELL THEN! Mysterio is a fraud and Thanos' snap opened Earth to several other dimensions? Interesting... Certainly opens up a lot of new avenues for the MCU to explore, huh?

There's just over a month to go until the film is released on July 5th, so we guess we'll just have to wait and see how Far From Home wraps up the MCU's third phase.
