The third season of the Netflix series is coming to Netflix on Thursday July 4th. Here is what time it will be released in your country.
It's time. Stranger Things 3 is about to drop into our lives on July 4th and we're inching closer and closer to finding out what's going to happen to Hawkins, Indiana and all our favourite characters.
Season two left us with some pretty huge unanswered questions. Like, what the hell is going on with the Mind-Flayer at the end of that last episode? How many more children with superpowers are there? Is Jopper ever gonna happen? And will mother-of-six Steve Harrington ever find love again?
But the all important question we so desperately need the answer to first is: What time will Stranger Things 3 arrive on Netflix?

As always, Netflix will be releasing the new season based on the time at their headquarters in San Francisco, California. Every new series or season will almost always be released at midnight, Pacific Standard Time. That means the series will drop everywhere on July 4th at once, but at a different time of day based on where you are in the world.
When does Stranger Things 3 come out?
Stranger Things 3 will be released on Netflix on Thursday July 4th. Yes, that is Independence Day. And yes, it is on a Thursday... not Netflix's usual Friday release. Cancel your holiday plans and adjust your binge-watching schedule.

What will happen in Stranger Things 3?
Based on that trailer, it looks like Mike, Dustin, Lucas, Max, Eleven, Will, Erica (Lucas' little sister) and the rest of the gang will investigate two new threats to Hawkins: A brand new terrifying Demogorgon-like monster from the Upside Down (that may or may not take Billy as its new host) and some gun-toting Russian bad guys.
Chief Hopper will find himself defending the town from the latter while Nancy and Jonathan come face to face with the monster.
Expect tons of references to the year 1985, including film, music and fashion easter eggs. It also looks like we might be getting some more romance this season, with Mike and Eleven now in a relationship, Lucas and Max continuing to be an iconic couple, Nancy and Jonathan investigating together and... maybe Jopper? They're holding hands a LOT this season. Guess we'll find out on July 4th.
