Here's what to expect from the return of the iconic family in 2019.

After years of speculation, it has finally been announced that a brand new Addams Family movie is coming to theaters. The animated project from MGM is set to enter production shortly.

So, what can we expect from the return of this iconic goth family?

Here's everything we know so far:

1) What is the release date of the The Addams Family animated movie?

The film will arrive in cinemas on October 11th 2019.

2) Who is directing The Addams Family animated movie?

Conrad Vernon, best known for his work on Sausage Party, will take the lead alongside producers Gail Berman and Alex Schwartz from a script by Pamela Pettler.

3) Who is in the cast of The Addams Family animated movie?

Variety reports that Poe Dameron himself, Oscar Isacc is currently in talks to voice Gomez in arguably the most appropriate piece of casting we've ever seen.

No word yet on who is in line to play Morticia Addams, Wednesday and Pugsley, Uncle Fester, Grandmama, the butler Lurch, the disembodied hand Thing, and Cousin Itt. Eva Green has long been tipped to play Morticia in any reboot but we are yet to see if she has been approached for this particular project.

Other casting ideas? Well, if they don't pick Aubrey Plaza for Wednesday then frankly what is the point of anything?
