Netflix's brand new teen rom-com has got the internet obsessed, but will there ever be a sequel of Elle and Noah's romance?

Ladies and gentlemen, there's a brand new teenage rom-com in town called The Kissing Booth starring Joey King and Jacob Elordi and the internet is OBSESSED with it. Like, beyond obsessed.

In case you haven't been paying attention, let us fill you in on everything you've missed. The Kissing Booth is Netflix's latest teen rom-com movie. It was written by a 15-year-old teenage girl (Beth Reekles) on WattPad. The original story on Wattpad garned 19 million reads on the site alone. Beth was later given a three book deal, eventually leading to a Netflix adaptation.

The film has been so successful that fans are already calling for a sequel - and it's only been one week since it's release!

It looks like there might be some good news on the horizon because Beth, now 22, has been teasing a potential sequel to the film on Twitter already.

The Couple From 'The Kissing Booth' Are Dating IRL And It's SO Cute

Soon after the release of the movie, she put up a Twitter Poll and the result was, you guessed it, unanimous.

What would a sequel to The Kissing Booth look like? Fans of the book and the Netflix movie already have a few ideas:

The internet has spoken! Exploring Elle and Noah's relationship over one summer after a semester at college would be VERY interesting. So would retelling the whole story from Noah's perspective... but if The Kissing Booth does end up getting that in-demand sequel, we're sure Beth will give us everything we ever dreamed of and more.

So while there's no official sequel on the horizon, there is, however, a companion novella that is available to read on Wattpad right now. But it isn't quite considered a sequel. The Beach House follows Elle, Lee and Noah over the course of a summer and takes place during The Kissing Booth timeline.

The more Elle and Noah we can get, the better tbh...

The Kissing Booth is available to stream on Netflix right now. And if you haven't seen it yet, what are you waiting for?!
