This was savage...

It's an exciting time to be a Spider-Man fan. After THAT tear-jerking scene in Avengers: Infinity War, we can rest assured that more Spider-Man content is definitely on its way. Not only has an entire sequel to Spider-Man: Homecoming officially been announced (Spider-Man: Far From Home is out next year) but Tom Holland is set to star in the new Avengers film too.

Recently Tom Holland joined fellow Marvel actors including Tom Hiddleston (Loki), Anthony Mackie (Falcon), Sebastian Stan (Bucky) and Elizabeth Olsen (Scarlet Witch) at Ace Comic Con. Not only did Tom meet Spider-Man fans at the event but he also took part in a Q&A with Anthony and Sebastian. In it people could ask the three actors about their experiences acting as Marvel superheroes. However, it wasn't the questions that were the highlight of the event.

The standout moment of the entire Q&A though was easily when Tom Holland read Anthony Mackie for absolute filth.

During the event, Tom was discussing Spider-Man: Homecoming before Anthony interrupted to say "I need to watch this movie". Taken aback by the reveal, Tom said "You haven't seen Spider-Man Homecoming" and when Anthony responded "No", the audience booed and Tom shook his head. So far so normal.

This is where things get really interesting though. Not willing to let this one slide, Tom quickly quipped back: "I haven't seen the Falcon mov... Oh no there isn't one". Incredible. Naturally the whole audience erupted into laughter and even Sebastian was screaming. Never one to be bitter about a good burn, Anthony was dying too and even shook Tom's hand.

I think we would be crying if this happened to us.

The exchange is all the more satisfying because Tom is usually the butt of other older Marvel actor's jokes. To see him roast his costars with so much finesse and ease is a joy. Naturally, we would love a Falcon movie so if Marvel could work on that that would be awesome but in the meantime we will be enjoying this historic exchange from now until the end of time.

Our love for Tom Holland knows no bounds.
