And, as long as we're on the truth train, you know that also definitely applies to film. You might consider your trash choices a major guilty pleasure, but science just revealed that loving low brow entertainment might actually be a sign of above average intelligence.
A new study (the first of its kind) from The Max Planck Institute for Empirical Aesthetics (whoa) surmises that trash entertainment fans are "an audience with above-average education, which one could describe as 'cultural omnivores'". You hear that folks? If you're someone who embraces a vast array of trash, that probably means your genius brain has the intellectual capacity to enjoy a variety of styles and genres.
