Gregory Tyree Boyce was most famous for playing the role of Tyler Crowley in Twilight.

Twilight star Gregory Tyree Boyce has died at the age of 30.

E! News reports that Gregory Tyree Boyce, who played Tyler Crowley in Twilight, passed away last week (May 13). According to the news outlet, Gregory and his longterm girlfriend Natalie Adepoju were both pronounced dead on Wednesday, May 13.

The Clark County Coroner's Office confirmed the news and told USA Today that the causes of death were pending toxicology results. Police spokesman Larry Hadfield later said that "the incident was not criminal."

A source told E! News: "Greg's cousin woke up and noticed that Greg's car was still at the house. He was worried because Greg was due to be in LA. His cousin went to check on him and found them."

Prior to his death, Gregory lived in Las Vegas to be close to his mother. However, he would commute to LA for acting and to see his 10-year-old daughter Alaya.

Following Gregory's passing fans have taken to social media to mourn him. One person tweeted: "Rest in Peace to Gregory Tyree Boyce—Tyler from Twilight. Too young. Praying for his family and friends." Another wrote: "Twilight would not be the same without your presence, you'll forever be our tyler. thank you, gregory boyce. rest well."

Gregory appears as Tyler in the first Twilight film. Fans will remember Tyler as the character who almost ran over Bella Swan before Edward Cullen saves her.
