You season 2 has inspired some serious Penn Badgley thirst and the internet can't get enough of the Netflix and Gossip Girl actor.

You season 2 arrived on Netflix last week (26 December) and we're STILL unpacking everything that went down in the new episodes. Joe Goldberg moved to Los Angeles, met Love (Victoria Pedretti) and quickly reverted to his old ways (anyone else having nightmares of a clear glass box?). Penn Badgley spent the early part of 2019 warning us that Joe is a seriously bad guy and that we should NOT be pining for him.

Now that season 2 is here, Penn also made sure to note the same thing in interviews promoting the new episodes. While Joe remains absolutely repellant, Penn Badgley thirst is back for season 2 and the memes are pure gold.

The internet is trying its hardest to keep the Joe Goldberg thirst to acceptable levels, but the same thing cannot be said about the actor himself, who has risen up the early 2020 power rankings of the internet's favourite men.

The whole internet after watching 857 interviews where Penn Badgley says he hates Joe and wants him dead.

Penn Badgley being a Scorpio almost makes TOO much sense, actually.

The rankings have shifted.

Trying so very hard...

Penn hitting the woah was something I didn't know I needed until this very moment.

If you tweet you're attracted to Joe Goldberg, Penn Badgley will come to your home and explain toxic masculinity to you in excruciating detail.

It's a fine line...

Is it...not?

Plenty of folks saw the vision back when he was on Gossip Girl.

Penn said 'PLEASE exclude Joe from this narrative'.

In conclusion, Joe = bad. Penn = good, iconic, and can hit the woah.

Does anyone have any questions?

What do you guys think? Did your Penn Badgley thirst reach new heights over the last few weeks?
