Jamie Lynn Spears announces Zoey 101 reunion and teases new theme song
2020 may be terrible but at least we have the Zoey 101 reunion.
Something tells us that Zoey 101 reboot is just around the corner because Jamie Lynn Spears has officially announced a Zoey 101 reunion event.
Jamie Lynn will be joined by original cast members Matthew Underwood (Logan), Sean Flynn (Chase), Chris Massey (Michael) and Erin Sanders (Quinn) for a “one-time only global livestream event”.
They'll also be joined by some of TikTok and YouTube's biggest stars including JoJo Siwa, Dixie D'Amelio, Noah Beck, Loren Gray, Harry Jowsey, Sofia Reyes, Eva Gutowski and Gigi Gorgeous.
As well as the live-stream, Jamie Lynn has also teased a brand new version of the iconic "Follow Me" theme song. That reboot? It's happening, babyyy.
Now, about that reunion. The livestream event is called The Follow Me (Zoey 101) Experience – The Legacy Continues, and is described as “a one-time only global livestream event” that gives fans “a peek inside the time capsule where iconic worlds collide.”
The event, which will take place on Sunday October 25th is ticketed and will cost fans $20. You'll be able to rewatch the whole thing for 24 hours.

Earlier this year, the cast (including Paul Butcher and Kristin Herrera) reunited for an All That sketch and back in May, Jamie Lynn teased that she and the rest of the cast were in talks to revive the beloved Nickelodeon show.
Speaking to The Hollywood Reporter, Jamie Lynn said: "We couldn't do it justice by putting it back on Nickelodeon, because our fanbase has grown into young adults like me, 29 or around the same age. We want to tell stories about where the characters are now. We want to connect with the fans and touch on topics that are impacting millennials, so it would have to be aged up and be more mature."
A few months later, the cast revealed that discussions were well underway but due to quarantines and COVID-19 precautions, things were taking a slow pace.
