Riverdale fans think KJ Apa just hinted at an Archie and Josie romance

Thanks to a couple of interviews from KJ Apa and Ashleigh Murray, it looks like Archie is getting a new love interest who goes by the name of Josie McCoy.
When they said that Riverdale season 3 was going to feature a lot more romance, they were not lying. After 7 episodes, we've already seen new ships starting to form, and of course, we've also seen the emotional break up of one of Riverdale's flagship couples, Archie Andrews (KJ Apa) and Veronica Lodge (Camila Mendes).
But while they are now apart from each other, it doesn't look like they're going to be staying single for very long. It's already been lowkey confirmed that Veronica will find romance with Reggie (Charles Melton) at some point in the season but now it appears as though there may be someone new on the horizon for Archie.
Who could that one someone be? Well... it looks like it's going to be none other than Riverdale's premiere Pussycat and underrated legend Josie McCoy.
Wait, what?! Archie and Josie?! Really?! Since when?! Well, after a couple of interviews from both Apa and Ashleigh Murray, alongside a few hints from the writers and the behind-the-scenes pictures from the actors, fans have done their sleuthing and it all seems to be adding up. Here's the tea...
Alluding to a possible new romance for Josie, Murray revealed that “there are things coming up for Josie’s love life.” “We’re only just now kind of broaching that, but there’s definitely going to be some tangible lovey-ness happening this year.”
Following on from that, Apa spoke to Syfy Wire about how Archie ends up on a downward spiral following his return to Riverdale High "but is saved by a person and by music." A PERSON. AND MUSIC? INTERESTING.
If you needed even more tea about the potential new couple, writer Britta Lundin tweeted about a scantily clad bedroom scene happening in episode 12 and fans quickly came to the realisation that Apa and Murray seemed to be on set at the time. They've also been shooting a HELL of a lot of scenes together recently and have been sharing some cute behind-the-scenes snaps together too.
Obviously, nothing has been confirmed yet but some fans are already absolutely gagging over the possibility of the two of them together. Archosie, anyone?

Of course, knowing Riverdale, their relationship probably won't last as long as some people would hope. Only time will tell if fate (or circumstances) bring Archie and Veronica back together but for now... it looks like Veggie/ReggieRonnie (honestly, which one is it?) is happening and it also looks like Archosie is RISINGGGGGGG.
Just one question though... what about Sweet Pea and that sweet summer romance Josie had going on with him? You know what, let Josie have her pick. Let her have Justin Gingerlake AND the Serpent Prince. LET 👏 HER 👏 THRIVE!
