The real life Riverdale couple have reaaaaaally cute names for each other and everyone is in their feelings about it.
In case you didn't know, Riverdale's Camila Mendes and Charles Melton are dating in real life. Yes, really - and they're really really cute together.
After confirming their relationship on Instagram last month, Cami and Charles have been pretty open about posting pictures on Instagram, being seen in public together and talking about their relationship. While on the red carpet for the People's Choice Awards on Sunday night (Nov 11), Camila stopped to chat to E! host Jason Kennedy about her nomination, the show in general and about her relationship with Charles - and she revealed the cute AF nickname that Charles has now given her.
While chatting to Kennedy, Camila was surprised with a "fan question" from, you guessed it, Charles. His question? "What's it like to work with Charles Melton?" Her answer? "It's a lot, very intense, you can't talk to him, you can't look at him. He only eats cashews rolled in cheese."
Cashews rolled in cheese? Ok. Go off. But here's the cute part... at the end of the interview, Kennedy asked Camila who "Baby Dragon" was. Turns out, Baby Dragon is the adorable nickname that Charles has bestowed on Cami.
"I'm baby dragon! I'm just like a baby dragon, it's who I am inside," Camila said. "'Cause I'm kind of, you know, ferocious a little bit. I'm cute, but psycho."
Her nickname for him? "Nutcase, because he's nuts."
