The difference between Casey Cott as Kevin Keller and Casey Cott as Tom Keller is wild...

Season 3 of Riverdale has been nothing short of wild so far. In just four episodes, we've seen everything from floating babies to the kidnapping of Hot Dog. Archie's been sent to a juvenile detention centre, Mad Dog has come and gone and the entire school of Riverdale High is addicted to a mysterious game called Gryphons and Gargoyles. Oh and it's killing off students one by one (RIP Dilton and Ben).

Last night, we finally got some answers in what will go down as one of the greatest pop culture moments of 2018. It was, of course, the flashback episode in which the young cast of Riverdale played their parents. It turns out that FP, Alice, Fred etc. all used to play Gryphons and Gargoyles. Amidst all the revelations, people couldn't get over the hilarious outfits that the cast had to wear for it.

And now the entire cast is roasting Casey Cott.

First things first, viewers couldn't get over how different the likes of KJ Apa, Lili Reinhart and Camila Mendes looked playing Fred, Alice and Hermione instead of Archie, Betty and Veronica. However, it was the costumes they wore as their parents in the Gryphons and Gargoyles game that people were truly living for and no one's outfit was quite as entertaining as Casey Cott's clothing.

Casey was taking on the role of Kevin Keller's father Tom (aka Sherrif Keller) and, while his normal outfits as Tom were pretty much what you'd expect, his Gryphons and Gargoyles get-up was something else. It's hard to describe it in words but it is literally one of the funniest things we've ever seen (think medieval chic meets nun) and we're not the only ones who find it hilarious.

Lili Reinhart spearheaded proceedings with a behind the scenes photo of Casey in the glorious garments.

And the winner of Riverdale's Next Top Model is...

Vanessa Morgan joined in too.

To be fair to Casey we think that the Fizzle Rocks (and his superb acting) were what made it stand out.

Madelaine Petsch offered the most brutal take.

We will never be able to unsee it.

Drew Ray Tanner kept it cute.

This gif deserves an award.

The whole fandom joined in tbh.

911. We'd like to report a murder.

Thankfully Casey took it all in his stride by retweeting, liking and even responding to the comments.

Nothing but respect for our president.

And to be fair to Casey he was far from the only one who looked ridiculous.

We will always have time for Cole roasting KJ.

In conclusion, we need these outfits make a reappearance now that Gryphons and Gargoyles is taking over Riverdale High. Fizzle Rocks can come back too. We in no way endorse drugs but Fizzle Rocks is greater than Jingle Jangle and that's the tea.
