Cole Sprouse’s slightly NSFW Halloween costume is pure nightmare fuel

Cole Sprouse + Halloween is always the perfect match but his latest costume is honestly just... too much.
When it comes to Halloween, Riverdale's Cole Sprouse delivers every single year. But this year, he has officially crossed a line with his costume and I don't know how we can move forward from this.
If you're a long term fan of Cole, you'll know that his Halloween costumes in recent years have been nothing short of iconic. He's been Milo Thatch from Atlantis: The Lost Empire, he's been Link from The Legend of Zelda, he's been Finn from Adventure Time, he's been a regular ol' skeleton and his efforts in 2018 are truly, truly one for the books.
Over this past weekend (Oct 27), a bunch of Riverdale cast members all celebrated Halloween. Lili Reinhart and Camila Mendes were there dressed impeccably as Napoleon Dynamite and Pedro, Charles Melton and KJ Apa donned their finest leopard print catsuits for what looked like (??) a Josie and the Pussycats tribute but Cole, who flew solo in the costume department, dressed as a minion from Despicable Me, complete with a sign that says "stop sexualising minions"... and a breast plate underneath.
We have given Cole Sprouse too much power. We'll never be able to un-see this.

Any fan of Cole will know that the actor has had quite the history with those lil' yellow minions and has spoken at great length about them in the past. When he was on The Tonight Show back in January, Cole took part in 'Pop Takes' where he laid down his thoughts and feelings on minions once and for all.
He said that minions were "a substantial plague on, not only the entertainment industry, but on merchandise everywhere. I can't escape minions for some reason, I see them in my sleep now because they fill the internet and my mind and retailers when I leave the store."
He's also recently taken to Twitter to elaborate on the minion merchandise available to men in a tweet that swiftly descended into a now iconic dick joke.
Shame the closest thing men get to lingerie is minion® apparel.

So there you have it, Cole appears to finally be at one with minions and is now fighting for their justice. We've come full circle at last.
In other news, the rest of the Riverdale cast absolutely turned it out for Halloween this year. Here's some pictures of their iconic costumes - and no, Ashleigh Murray isn't dressed as Toni Topaz, she's just a witch, ok?
