The hackers tweeted about Dylan's rumoured girlfriend and made explicit comments toward Disney.

If you woke up this morning to a confusing stream of tweet notifications from Riverdale's Cole Sprouse, you should probably ignore them because it wasn't him.

Yep, Cole's Twitter account was hacked by a group of Fortnite streamers last night and they sent out some pretty savage messages on his timeline - including one about a fake meet up in Los Angeles.

Fans noticed that something was wrong with Cole's account after they started getting loads of notifications from his account. The tweets from the hackers ranged from self-promo about their personal accounts and Twitch streams to tweets about Dylan Sprouse's rumoured girlfriend Barbara Palvin and even explicit tweets about Disney.

A few hours later, Lili Reinhart tweeted to let fans know that Cole's account had indeed been hacked.

.

While the hackers didn't do too much damage to Cole's account, fans are concerned about the one of the tweets in particular, regarding a meet up in Los Angeles.

Of course, fans are pointing out that the cast are no longer in LA, they flew back to Vancouver straight after the Teen Choice Awards on Sunday night. The tweet was RT'd over 200 times and faved by over 2000 people before it was deleted.

.

Cole's account is now back in his possession and the tweets have since been deleted. Order has been restored and normal business will resume on the account of 2018's Choice Male Hottie shortly.

Honestly, thank god that's over... but ummmm, maybe he shouldn't have spoken the damn thing into existence in the first place.
