"Cheryl is definitely interested in both women and men."

The teens on Riverdale are just like regular teens. Except, you know, they solve murders and stuff. Along with relationship and family intrigue, you can also expect your fictional faves to be learning about their sexuality.

Season 2 newcomer Toni Topaz was casually confirmed as bisexual on the show and now Madelaine Petsch has revealed that her own character is probably bisexual as well.

As Cheryl and Josie got closer in season 2, fans have wondered if there is something lying beneath the surface of their friendship....especially on Cheryl's part.

In a YouTube Q&A posed to her personal channel, Madelaine took questions from fans about her career and her Riverdale character.

One fan asked, "what is Cheryl's sexuality? Please settle the debate".

"Cheryl is definitely interested in both women and men," Madelaine explained. "So, I would say she's bisexual. I think you're gonna see a lot more of her figuring out who she is."

Madelaine also gave some insight into Cheryl's new found obsession with Josie. "She doesn't understand feelings very well, and I think she's mucking up a friendship with romantic feelings, because she's never really felt love before."

WHEW, that's a lot to process. Madelaine promised that viewers would get to "see a lot more" of Cheryl figuring out who she is and we honestly cannot WAIT.
