KJ Apa and Charles Melton's 'Josie and the Pussycats' costume just won Halloween

It's highly unlikely that anyone will ever reach the same levels of flawlessness as Riverdale's KJ Apa and Charles Melton in their Pussycat Halloween costumes. Ever.
It's a known fact that the cast of Riverdale are very good at Halloween costumes. This year alone, we've seen Lili Reinhart and Camila Mendes pull an incredible Napoleon Dynamite and Pedro couples costume out of the bag, we've been blessed with Ashleigh Murray as a purple-eyed witch and of course, we'll never be able to un-see Cole Sprouse as a minion with boobs.
But it looks like KJ Apa and Charles Melton have officially won the Riverdale Halloween costume competition this year - thanks to their matching Josie and the Pussycats leotards. (Yes, really.)
Last year, KJ and Charles dressed up as Spiderman and Venom. You'll probably remember this iconic moment. And what a moment it was.
But this year, the boys outdid themselves with their costume. Dressed head to toe in leopard print body suits, KJ and Charles channeled Riverdale's very own pussycats and every wig in existence has now ascended into orbit.
The serve, the slay, the sheer audacity. The poses... It's perfect.
More snaps of the pair on the night were shared on social media and between this and Cole's minion nipples, we're not sure the fandom will ever recover.
But if these two are Valerie and Melody, then who is Josie? Honestly, Jordan Connor (who plays Sweet Pea) should have taken one for the team and given us the real trio we deserve.
So, what do Riverdale's real Pussycats have to say about KJ and Charles swooping and stealing their bag? Asha Bromfield (the iconic drummer Melody Valentine) and Hayley Law (our beloved Valerie Brown) have spoken - and they officially approve this message.
Well played @kj_apa 😩 https://t.co/Y9YmYhxmpi
