Friends who bake vegan snacks together STAY together.
If you're all caught up on Riverdale, you're probably aware of the fact that Toni Topaz and Cheryl Blossom are getting closer. Whether it pans out the way shippers are hoping or burns brightly before fizzling out, Riverdale fans are pretty much in agreement that Choni are an iconic duo.
You may love them on screen as potential love interests, but did you know they're actually BFFs in real life?
Vanessa Morgan and Madelaine Petsch actually met during the process of auditioning for Riverdale.
In a video posted to her YouTube channel last year, Madelaine explained that they met while Vanessa was auditioning for the role of Josie. Vanessa didn't get the part, but the two got super close and even lived together for a month after Madelaine shot the Riverdale pilot.
The whole cast is pretty tight-knit, but we live for Madelaine and Vanessa's antics.
One time @VanessaMorgan and I weren’t let into a party, we called the cops on it and it got shut down. Not my proudest moment but I still die laughing thinking about it

They even love the memes about their onscreen romance.

Vanessa and Madelaine are both vegan and watching them make these vegan treats actually added five years to my life.
ANGELS.
They even have matching BFF rings. SIS, I'm SHOOK.
FACT: When even your dog loves your BFF, you know she a real one.

I'll wait.

Vanessa Morgan and Madelaine Petsch may play potential love interests, but we're TRULY obsessed with their iconic real life friendship. Perhaps their close IRL bond is why Cheryl's emotional coming out scene was so believable and moving.
Anyway, can we get a CW spin-off with Vanessa and Madelaine playing two tough-talking cops?
