'RuPaul’s Drag Race' Queens Defend Themselves After Homophobic Abuse In Kebab Shop

Farrah Moan is filmed clapping back at the abuser's "crusty ass eyelashes".
Video footage has emerged of RuPaul Drag Race season 9 alumni Shea Coulee and Farrah Moan receiving homophobic abuse in a kebab shop after a show in Newcastle, UK (4 April).
In the video which was filmed by the abusers themselves, the queens are repeatedly called "slut", "faggot" and "walking STD's" by a group the unidentified females. Farrah Moan doesn't take it lying down, however, who claps back by saying, "We're touring the world being gay while you're living in Newcastle with your crusty ass eyelashes".

Not long after the incident, Farrah tweeted about what happened and reassured Drag Race fans that there's "no need to apologise on behalf of the city- our show was amazing and theres homophobic twats all over the world. Love you guys!” She also trying to track down photos of the abusers.

It's a sad reality that homophobic and transphobic abuse is still a daily reality for so many in the LGBTQ community but it's heartening to see Farrah Moan fight back like that and watch all the love the pair are receiving on social media. Keep on slaying, queens!
