Here's a little bit more on the 10 RuPaul's Drag Race UK contestants – and may the best woman, win!
Vinegar Strokes is a classic comedy queen who sees herself as "Tina Turner meets Lizzo meets Kat Slater". The 35-year-old from London might already have a little leg up on the competition, though, because she's been starring in West End show Everybody's Talking About Jamie – alongside Drag Race judge Michelle Visage.
The Vivienne, 27, from Liverpool describes herself "a scouse wife who has come into money, she moved to LA and blew it all and then she’s had to move back to Liverpool". She's best known for her iconic impersonations of celebrities, particularly, a very good Kim Woodburn.
Baga Chipz is a 29-year-old pub queen from London, who describes herself as "common as muck". Although she looks pretty glam to us, she's not trying to hide her "tarty" aesthetic. "I’m not one of these gorgeous beautiful Kate Moss lookalike drag queens," she said. "My style is more cabaret, old school, sequin frocks, Shirley Bassey, Danny La Rue, Lily savage kind of drag."
Crystal is 34-years-old and originally from Canada, but has been living in London for 10 years. Crystal describes herself as "gender bending" and is known for her "freak show" style circus skills. She said: "It’s unexpected. It’s nothing you have ever seen before."
Scaredy Kat, 19, from Wiltshire has a lot to prove because she's the youngest Drag Race contestant EVER. Scaredy is expecting to be the underdog of the competition because she has barely any experience in the field, but she describes her drag as "very pink, very cute and very feline-esque".
Blu Hydrangea is from Belfast, Northern Ireland, and she's all about her flawless beat and fashion. The 23-year-old said: "Blu Hydrangea is like a GCSE art project, high fashion from outer space, a cartoon character – with muppet realness."
Cheryl Hole, 25, is an Essex girl and part of a Girls Aloud drag act, so expect some sickening dance moves and death drops from this self-proclaimed "dancing diva".
Gothy, 21, from Leicester is bringing something different to the competition describing herself as "dark, contemporary, striking and unique". She said: "I like to look very different to traditional queens who are more camper, and more performance based. I also do a lot of different work compared to other queens in the UK. I like to DJ, host and throw parties – that’s what I’m good at."
Sum Ting Wong
Sum Ting Wong, 30, from Birmingham grew up a little "emo kid" and thanks drag for bringing her out of her shell, and giving her the chance to perform. She said: "I am a Chinese male who's overweight and losing his hair. I’m never gonna make it like that so drag helped me."
Divina De Campo
Divina De Campo, 35, is from West Yorkshire and she's famous for her operatic pipes. Divina is pretty used to the stage having taken part in The Voice UK and All Together Now, while she also posts Drag Race reviews on YouTube.
