Further proof that being a drag queen can be a high-risk profession.

Thursday night (17 October) marked the third episode of RuPaul's Drag Race UK. The eight remaining queens were challenged with making high fashion lewks from scratch using only items they had found in a car boot sale. Does it get more British than that?

The queens got inventive with their costumes, making outfits from rubber gloves, blinds and video tapes. But Baga Chipz chose one of the hardest materials of all – wire wool kitchen sponges.

Baga cleverly crafted shorts and a bustier-style top from the wire wool, creating a futuristic rose gold ensemble. The judges clearly loved it too because, although she didn't make it into the top three, she sailed through the competition alongside Blu Hydrangea, and wasn't at risk of elimination.

However, behind the scenes Baga revealed that pulling her outfit together wasn't quite as seamless as we'd thought. Whilst backstage with Blu Hydrangea, Baga confessed that her two-piece almost cost her her, um, penis.

"I'm not going to lie, I was rushing," she said. "I was hot gluing stuff to my penis. I literally burnt my bellend with hot glue." Well, you do have to make a lot of sacrifices when you're a drag queen…

The BFFs were forced to lip-sync for their lives to the Eurythmics' 'Would I Lie To You?' and, after RuPaul deliberated, Vinegar was sent home following her second lip-sync battle in the competition.

When is RuPaul's Drag Race UK Snatch Game?

Next Thursday (24 October) will be the first episode of Snatch Game on RuPaul's Drag Race UK, featuring the remaining seven queens. In the Snatch Game, which is a fan-favourite among Drag Race stans, each queen must impersonate a celebrity of their choosing.

According to next week's preview, there looks like there's going to be some drama because two queens want to play former Prime Minister Margaret Thatcher – awkward.
