Sex Education season 2 arrives on Netflix on January 17th.

It's time! The first trailer for Sex Education season 2 has arrived and it's teasing a big season for Otis and Maeve.

Asa Butterfield (Otis), Ncuti Gatwa (Eric), Emma Mackey (Maeve) and the rest of the cast are all back for another round of antics as our favourite Moordale High students. Gillian Anderson also returns as our fave sex therapist mum, Jean Milburn – and she's set to offer her own sex advice to the teenagers of Moordale High too.

Season 2 of the Netflix series will consist of another 8 episodes that will no doubt be packed full of drama, sex and absolutely savage one-liners if this new trailer is anything to go by...

The trailer opens with Otis' mum Jean Milburn giving the less than impressed students of Moordale High a lecture on sexual health.

"It's a new term, no more clinic, no more drama..." says Otis, but as you can probably guess, there will be plenty of drama. Case in point: Everyone's got chlamydia. And eeeeeveryone is still harassing Otis for his famous sex advice.

The trailer also spills on a few of our fave relationships on the show. Otis has moved on from Maeve with Ola but it doesn't look like Maeve is doing well moving on from him. Mind you, it looks like there may be some hope there after all? Maybe? PLEASE SAY YES!

In other news, Jackson is still swimming, Adam is at military school, there's a new boy from France who Eric gets involved with (despite his complicated relationship with Adam), Jean and Jakob (that's Ola's dad – yep, awkward) are found in a very compromising position and Maeve attempts to get back into school following her expulsion.

There's fights, there's tears, there's smashing of vases, there's screaming and, of course, there's sex. Can't wait, tbh.

Sex Education drops on Netflix on Friday 17th January. See ya there, dickheads.
