You'd be forgiven if you overlooked this subtle Queer Eye cameo in Stranger Things season three. **SPOILERS AHEAD**

Amid all the Stranger Things drama of "evil" Russians planning to take over the world by harnessing the power of the Upside Down, and the Mind Flayer setting up camp inside Billy's body, there was a sneaky little Queer Eye cameo you may have missed.

That's right - none other than William Mahnken, who had a Queer Eye makeover in season 2 of the Netflix show, was present in several scenes from season 3.

Eagle-eyed viewers first spotted Mahnken sitting in the conference room of local newspaper, The Hawkins Post, as Nancy Wheeler pitches her rabid rat story to a room full of sexist editors - including this Trump lookalike (played by Jake Busey).

He can then also be seen with his real-life wife, Shannon, as they chomp on some food in Enzo's restaurant next to Hopper (David Harbour).

William stole the nation's hearts when he appeared on Queer Eye in season 2, in the episode entitled 'A Decent Proposal'.

In the episode, William was about to propose to his then-girlfriend, Shannon, and enlisted the help of the Fab Five to help boost his confidence to do so.

He then romantically popped the question in the show, getting down on one knee at an open-air movie. Cute.
