Your Least Favourite Character In "Stranger Things 2" Is Coming Back For Season 3

"I would say chances are very high she comes back..."
Stranger Things 3 might be well over a year away from hitting our screens, that hasn't stopped us from obsessing about it. While there's been no actual confirmation of returning cast members - or even official confirmation from Netflix of a third season - we can all assume that our key players will all be back for more. (Except Bob... Rest In Peace, Bob.)
Having said that, The Duffer Brothers have sort of confirmed in an interview with The Hollywood Reporter that they've already started breaking down the plot for season three and one secondary character in particular will be making a grand return.
That character? The subject of the very controversial seventh episode, Kali aka 008.
When asked about the polarising 'The Lost Sister' episode, the brothers explained how necessary it was to the ending of the season and then also teased that we haven't heard the last of Kali. Her story will be explored even more in season three.
“It feels weird to me that we wouldn't solve [her] storyline. I would say chances are very high she comes back,” said Matt Duffer.
Now, before you complain and say she's boring, there's SO much potential and information left in the show about her that could be key to finding out about Eleven and Hawkins Lab's experiments. Where was she from? How long was she at the lab? How did she find out about her powers? Why hasn't her accent changed? Did she ever meet any other children besides Eleven? Why is she in Chicago?
There's no more information about what will happen in season three but if they're hoping to solve Kali's storyline then we could be introduced to a few more lab children with special powers too.
Honestly, we don't know why everyone dislikes Kali so much. Sure, her storyline wasn't the strongest but like... she's so instrumental to Eleven's journey that the story would high-key not make any sense without her.
