Who plays Todd in The End Of The F***ing World? Mamma Mia 2's Josh Dylan joins cast

Todd, played by British actor Josh Dylan, shows up in season 2, episode 2 – and fans are already loving his appearance.

It's back, baby. The End Of The F***ing World season 2 has finally finally arrived and it's already stepping on our necks.

Starring Jessica Barden, who returns as Alyssa, the new season is set to answer almost every unanswered question we had after that cliffhanger ending of season 1 and all the new mysteries shown in the new trailers.

Is James (Alex Lawther) alive? Or is James 100% dead? Who is Bonnie? What does she want? Why is Alyssa wearing a wedding dress? Who's urn is that in the promotional poster? What is HAPPENing?!

The season will also introduce a number of new characters, including the previously mentioned mysterious and deadly Bonnie (played by Naomi Ackie) who appears in episode 1 and another character in episode 2 called Todd, who fans are currently losing it over.

Who plays Todd in The End Of The F***ing World?

Season 2 picks up one year after the events of season 1, where we find Alyssa working in a diner. She hates it, but she does end up meeting Todd, a canoeing teacher with strong opinions like the fact that the country of Finland doesn’t exist.

“He’s kind of like a dog, in a good way - and he’s a really good kisser,” Alyssa says at one point, a sentence I'm still trying to process. Anyway, they end up getting engaged after saying “fuck it” when Alyssa asks him if he wants to get married... hence the big ol' wedding dress that's been teased in the trailer.

Todd is played by British actor Josh Dylan who fans immediately recognised as Young Bill Anderson from Mamma Mia: Here We Go Again – and they promptly lost it.

What other TV shows and movies has Josh Dylan been in?

Before TEOTFW, Josh appeared in the 2016 movie Allied as Captain Adam Hunter alongside Brad Pitt and Marion Cotillard. Mamma Mia: Here We Go Again was only the second big-screen role he's ever had. He also starred in the 2018 horror film The Little Stranger alongside Domhnall Gleeson, Ruth Wilson, Will Poulter, and Charlotte Rampling.

Expect to see more of Josh as Todd throughout The End Of The F***ing World season 2.
