Following the release of The Kissing Booth 2, fans have become enamoured and obSESSed with Joey King and Taylor Zakhar Perez’s on-screen performances as Elle Evans and Marco Peńa.
In the film, Elle grows closer to new boy Marco, while stressing over whether or not Noah (Jacob Elordi) is cheating on her with Chloe (Maisie Richardson-Sellers). She ends up falling for him and they kiss during their dance competition.
The chemistry between Joey and Taylor in those scenes has been sending fans wild. And it seems like their chemistry, and friendship in real life, has also got fans hoping that they're actually dating.
Case in point: Taylor's absolutely adorable birthday message to Joey on Instagram, which has caused fans to have a meltdown.

The Kissing Booth’s Joey King sparks romance rumours with Taylor Zakhar Perez
Joey celebrated her 21st birthday yesterday (July 30) and was inundated with well wishes from her friends and fans.
Her co-star Taylor took to Instagram to share a picture of the two of them looking at each other in the beach, alongside the caption: “Happy Friggen Birthday @joeyking. Honestly I could write about this woman all day. She is the reason I joined the KB2 family, she welcomed me with open arms and love, she supported me, she pushed me, she made me laugh (like pee my pants laughter and had to check my underwear), she inspired me to be a better actor, she shared her family with me, THE LIST GOES ON. Grateful for you forever. #tbt”
In the comments, Joey replied: "Can’t imagine my life without you. I heart you T."
Taylor also shared the image to his Instagram stories with a big ‘I LOVE YOU’ heart sticker over the top of it.
Neither Joey nor Taylor have confirmed anything about whether or not they’re actually in a real life relationship, but either way, fans are dying over their close friendship.
Following Taylor's post, fans piped up in the comments saying "Y'ALL SHOULD BE DATING!!", "Y'all would make a cute couple!!" and "How are they not dating yet?"
Joey also posted an Instagram story last week which managed to fuel romance rumours. She shared an image of her cuddling Taylor with the caption: "Got tested just so we could hug today". She then posted another cute pic of them adding: "favourite weirdo".
Taylor also recently told Glamour that he's "not dating anyone" but when asked if he'd ever date a fan, Taylor responded: "I’m a fan of Joey and wish that she would date me, you know what I mean?"
Love them. Love Elle and Marco too... Honestly just can't wait to see what happens in The Kissing Booth 3.
