Aidan Gallagher (Number 5) sang Gerard Way's 'Cancer' on his YouTube channel...
It's no secret that we are obsessed with The Umbrella Academy. Ever since Netflix released the new series last Friday, we've been unable to think about anything else. Based on a comic book series by My Chemical Romance star Gerard Way, The Umbrella Academy follows a set of seven adopted siblings with superpowers who are tasked with preventing the apocalypse. It's everything.
And the show would be nothing without its cast. Ellen Page acts the role of Vanya perfectly, Emmy Raver-Lampman stuns as Allison and Robert Sheehan is wowing viewers as Klaus. Still, it's Aidan Gallagher who fans really can't get over. He stars as Number 5 and somehow manages to portray a middle aged man trapped as a boy with ease. However, fans may not know that Aidan also sings.
Check out Aidan's My Chemical Romance cover below.
Aidan may only be 15-years-old but he has already achieved much outside of The Umbrella Academy. He acted the lead role of Nicky in Nicky, Ricky, Dicky & Dawn on Nickelodeon and has over 100,000 YouTube subscribers. Aidan often posts covers on YouTube and, while he was filming The Umbrella Academy, he covered 'Cancer' by My Chemical Romance in tribute to Gerard Way.

Incredible right? He really is a teenager with the emotional intelligence of a grown up. Better yet, Aidan has also done covers of Shawn Mendes and Ed Sheeran on his channel, so there is plenty of Aidan content to keep you entertained. Oh, and he has even released his own music. Aidan debuted a song he wrote himself called 'Blue Neon' on YouTube at the end of 2018.

Aidan isn't currently signed to any label but we imagine that it's only a matter of time.
