Say what?! Yes. Shortly after the hot tub scene in the first film, someone posts a video of it on Instagram and Lara Jean gets slut-shamed at school. Lara Jean is convinced that Gen shared it but Peter convinces her that she didn't. However, in To All the Boys 2, we find out that Gen did upload the video and even worse, Peter was originally waiting in the hot tub for Gen.

Peter accidentally reveals the shocking news in a fight with Lara Jean after she confronts him about spending time with Gen behind her back. It later turns out that Peter was comforting Gen because her parents were getting divorced and Lara Jean forgives him at the end of the movie. However, fans of Lara Jean are less forgiving and are outraged by the revelation.

Here are just a few of the reactions.
