Watch Jordan Fisher choose between Peter Kavinsky and John Ambrose from To All The Boys 2.

If Peter Kavinsky in To All The Boys I've Loved Before was supposed to be the ultimate high school crush, then John Ambrose is basically perfect husband material in the sequel, To All The Boys: P.S I Still Love You. That's the verdict from John Ambrose himself, actor Jordan Fisher.

The film drops tomorrow (Feb 12) on Netflix and the world is about the fall in love with Jordan, who comes between the film's star-crossed lovers Lara Jean Covey and Peter Kavinsky, played by Lana Condor and Noah Centineo.

As fans will remember, To All The Boys... ended with Lara Jean and Peter falling in love for real after faking their relationship for what felt like forever. It looked like that drama was a thing of the past until John Ambrose turns up in To All The Boys 2 and Lara Jean realises she isn't quite over her feelings for her childhood sweetheart.

Now, the internet can be rough, especially if you come between the most-shipped characters from a very popular Netflix teen movie. But when we caught up with Jordan in New York to talk about the upcoming film, he seemed to be taking all the fans' reactions in his stride.

"As these fans age and get older, I look forward to seeing how their thought processes change." Is he prepared for the hate he might get online? "Yeah..." he says, "...because I don't really care." So, if you were thinking about letting your feelings be known about 'homewrecker John Ambrose' on his Instagram page, don't even bother.

That's not to say he's against Lara Jean and Peter being together. Quite the opposite, in fact. "If I had to choose for Lara Jean right now in college? Timing, respect, general electric-connection and chemistry... [it would be] Peter."

But Jordan has a very important caveat. "Who do I want to spend the rest of my life with? John Ambrose. Without a doubt. He's the marrying type."
