The stars of 'To All The Boys I've Loved Before' have great onscreen chemistry but their first meeting was just a liiiiitle awkward.

To All The Boys I've Loved Before has audiences hooked and in love with its leads Lana Condor and Noah Centineo. The pair have incredible chemistry on and off screen, something that actors twice their age with twice their experience are often unable to pull off.

Of course, there was a time that the two didn't know each other and Lana Condor's recollection of their first meeting is so so adorable.

In an interview with MTV News, Lana says she remembers seeing the "gorgeous, tall, beautiful man that is Noah" and knew that she couldn't run lines with him for fear of getting distracted. We feel you, sis.

Lana begins talking about meeting her TATBILB co-star at 1:51.

"I went in for pre-reads for the audition process and I look up and I see this this gorgeous, tall, beautiful man that is Noah walk through the door. And I was like 'NOT TODAY' and I kept reading my sides, like 'I will not get distracted, I will not get distracted'."

"And I start feeling his presence coming towards me and he sits down right next to me. He was like 'hey, do you want to read lines together?' and I was like 'no sorry' and went back to reading my sides," Lana recounted.

After that initial meaning, Lana remembers booking the project and seeing Noah's name on a list of potential Peters and wondering if Noah was gonna "sabotage" her for turning him down.

Of course, no sabotaging took place and they both landed their respective roles.

And doing promo for the film.

So, we're prettttyyy sure Noah has forgiven her for turning him down to run lines that first time and their promo tour looks like a BLAST.

But, seriously, turning Noah down to give your brain a fighting chance at staying focused? WE. CAN. RELATE.
