"I honestly didn’t recognise her one bit..."

It's only been out for four days but people are already claiming that Netflix's new teen rom-com To All The Boys I've Loved Before is one of the best films of 2018.

Not only is the film sending the internet wild with its cute AF storyline, everyone is pretty much losing it over the cast of the damn thing too. The film stars some pretty impressive talent; there's the impeccable Lana Condor (Lara Jean) and Noah Centineo (Peter), who you'll recognise from his days on the Disney Channel's Austin and Ally. Pretty Little Liar's Janel Parrish (Margot) also stars and if you're a Sex And The City stan, you'll even recognise John Corbett (Lara Jean's dad Dan) as Carrie's ex-boyfriend Aidan. But we bet you didn't realise that the actress who plays Genevieve also had a HUGE role on Riverdale.

Yep, Genevieve, the ex-girlfriend of Peter Kavinsky who he tries to make jealous by fake-dating Lara Jean Covey, is played by Emilija Baranac who also previously starred as the gone-too-soon Jingle Jangle-loving legend Midge Klump in Riverdale.

Midge, if you recall, was brutally murdered by the Black Hood (that bastard Hal Cooper) during Kevin Keller's production of Carrie The Musical. It is a widely accepted fact in the fandom that her death was unjust and undeserved. When you google the words "deserved better," Midge's picture now shows up. (That's a lie but it should.)

People are only just making the connection, presumably because they made Emilija wear such a terrible wig on Riverdale, and it's blowing everyone's minds.

.

They really did her dirty with that Midge wig.

.

Surprise Black Hood, bet you thought you'd seen the last of her.

.

It's called ACTING. Look it up.

.

What if Midge just faked her own death and she actually just transferred to the same school as Lara Jean and Peter to get away from that Riverdale noise?

.

Justice for Emilija Baranac, honestly.
