Can you believe? Noah Centineo? Inventor of putting hands in back pockets on jeans?

It doesn't matter how many times you sit down to watch Netflix's new rom-com To All The Boys I've Loved Before, it'll never stop being a perfect movie. We've had a week to obsess, fangirl and cry over the film and now, we're slowly starting to learn more and more about the ins and outs of how it all came together.

Speaking to ET Online, director Susan Johnson sat down and dished on literally everything you wanted to know about your new fave movie; from the casting and audition processes that led us to Lana Condor and Noah Centineo, right down to how important it was to keep Lara Jean's ethnicity as it was in the books.

We also happened to learn that Noah actually managed to sneak in quite a bit of his own sauce and personality into the role of Peter Kavinsky, because most of the cute little quirks we see him do on screen were actually just him in the moment.

Of course, we already know that the strategic removal of the popcorn during the pillow fight with Kitty was down to Noah's improvisation skills but now, it turns out that the back pocket spin - yes, THAT back pocket spin - was all Noah as well.

When asked whether the small quirks that came from Peter's character were written in the script, Johnson explained: "No, it’s just charming Noah. Noah’s just super present when he’s working and he’s very tuned into everything. For instance, the moving the popcorn was totally Noah. I didn’t ask him to do it."

"The spin in the back pocket was also Noah. He did it in the rehearsal and I was like, “That is beautiful, we’re going to change the shot around!” He’s a natural flirt so he knew what he was doing. The hot tub, it’s just their chemistry. There’s a little of Noah there and a little of Peter there."

This revelation has shook the fandom to it's core and no one can cope. No one.

.

At this point, we're not actually sure where Noah ends and Peter begins. And you know what? We're ok with that.
