Wale Announces New Mixtape, Premieres New Track "Miracle On U Street"

Rappers have responded predictably to the klaxon call of the various think pieces on the so-called "death of rap in 2014". Everyone's favourite cool rap boyfriend, Wale has joined the ranks of artists dropping mixtapes and LPs before the year's end.

In his latest track "Miracle On U Street", Wale name-checks Kerry Washington, raps about his career, and compares "the struggle" to an onion. Upbeat and high energy, "Miracle On U Street" is the version of Wale that threatened to rule the game when he first appeared on the scene.

Along with the track, Wale also announced that he would be dropping a mixtape on Christmas Eve-Eve entitled Festivus.
