Hear "Desire" go from a dance track to an amazing grunge rock song.
Wolf Alice have just released their long awaited debut album, My Love Is Cool to rave reviews. Fellow London based band, Years & Years are gearing up to do the same in just two weeks time so it's only fitting that Wolf Alice would take on one of the biggest bands of the year in the BBC Radio 1 Live Lounge.
Years & Years won BBC's Sound of 2015 and they certainly seem to be keeping up with the moniker. Each track they release is more hyped than the last and they're well on their way to becoming the biggest things in 2015.
Wolf Alice lead singer, Ellie Rowsell completely changes up the vibe of the song with her dark vocal style. At times, Rowsell and the rest of the band resemble the xx's compositional and vocal signatures. A persistent, albeit unfamiliar, bass carries the track, turning it completely on its head.
