Sam Smith has been having a tough time lately. Aside from becoming a four time Grammy winner overnight and losing a phenomenal amount of weight, the singer's voice has been majorly damaged.
Last night he won big at the Billboard Music Awards, taking home the honours of Top New Artist.
Unfortunately, Sam was so ill after recovering from major vocal cord surgery that he had to give his acceptance speech cue card style, a la Love Actually.
