Level of Concern is Twenty One Pilots' first single since they released The Hype in 2019.
Twenty One Pilots are back. The duo have released a new song called 'Level of Concern' and the lyrics and video are iconic.
Ever since Twenty One Pilots released Trench in 2018, fans have been eager to find out what the duo would do next. The hit album spawned the singles 'Jumpsuit', 'Nico and the Niners', 'My Blood' and 'Chlorine' and topped charts all around the world. It also preceded their 116 date BANDITØ tour in arenas across the globe, which received rave reviews from fans and critics.

Now, Tyler Joseph and Josh Dun are ready to release new music and 'Level of Concern' is here to "encourage hope during difficult times".
What are Twenty One Pilot's 'Level of Concern' lyrics about?
Yesterday (Apr 8), Tyler Joseph sent the skeleton clique into pandemonium by tweeting "song and video tomorrow" with new artwork for a single called 'Level of Concern' without warning. Naturally, TØP fans started freaking out at the announcement and 'Level of Concern' lives up to the hype. Not only is the song funky and almost Daft Punk esque but the video is great.
As with all TØP songs, there are likely many hidden meanings within the 'Level of Concern' lyrics but it appears to be about relying on your loved ones when you have anxiety. There also appear to be references to everyone being in lockdown due to coronavirus. Tyler sings: "Panic on the brain, world has gone insane" and "Wondering, would you be my little quarantine?".
The music video features Tyler's wife, Jenna Joseph, and their daughter Rosie, as well as Josh's fiancée, Debby Ryan.

Tyler and Josh never fail us. The boys have also announced that they will donate a portion of the proceeds from ‘Level of Concern’ to Crew Nation, a global relief fund for live music crews, which aims to help touring and venue crews affected by the coronavirus crisis.
