The documentary covers the various ways in which the event was mismanaged and viewers have already immortalised the chaos of the documentary with some incredible memes.
Fyre: The Greatest Party That Never Happened explains how Billy McFarland, the CEO of Fyre Media, bungled the festival, which was aimed at influencers and exclusive partygoers. The footage depicts the months and weeks leading up to the failed event and paints a chaotic picture that is reinforced by employee and attendee interviews.
People can't seem to get over how wild the whole ordeal was and the memes capture the chaos perfectly.

Highlights: rich kids going Lord of the Flies and peeing on beds to keep tents for themselves, Ja Rule saying "It's not fraud, it's... false advertising."
Folks couldn't believe their ears when Andy opened up about what Billy allegedly asked him to do for water.
Andy's story was easily one of the top 5 wildest moments in the film.

Besides all the memes, people were heartbroken over the story of Maryann Rolle.
The restaurant owner revealed in the doc that she'd had to give up her savings to ensure the people who had worked to prepare food for the festival were paid what they were owed. Maryann opened up about how she'd lost $50,000 of her life savings in the entire fiasco and people were heartbroken for her.
