Trevi continued: “I’ve dealt with this feeling my entire life and I know that I am a woman, deep down inside. It's just a feeling you know. I hit a rock on my journey in 2017 when I thought that I wasn't transgender because I thought that people were pushing me to be transgender. I just had a lot of demons back then."

Trevi then explains that she wasn't ready to come out back in 2017, due to an eating disorder and self confidence issues. "But now I'm here," she says in the video.

Trevi also explains how she had planned to come out with a photoshoot and new music but then ultimately decided that it didn't feel right. Instead, Trevi plans to release a docuseries, called Trevi: The Transition, in which she will share her transition story. She shared clips of the series in her YouTube video.

Trevi ends the video by confirming her pronouns, which are she and her, and by saying: "If you’re ever lost, just don’t go out, go in. Go in and find yourself because going out and distracting yourself defeats the purpose.”

Friends and fellow YouTubers all took to social media to share their love and support for Trevi, as well as fans who showered her with messages of love.

Following the outpouring of support, Trevi thanked her friends and fans in a tweet, reading: "I would like to personally reach out and say that the love you guys have given me has made me OVER THE MOTHAFUCKIN MOOOOON I APPRECIATE IT! A lot! I love you."
