Billie also said that wearing loose-fitting clothes has actually improved her body confidence.

Billie Eilish has been dominating the music world all year long but there's one thing people are even more obsessed with than her music – her clothing. The 'everything i wanted' singer is only ever seen rocking baggy clothes and it has become her signature style.

Billie has previously said that she started wearing loose-fitted clothing because of the sexualisation of her body. Earlier this year, a photo of Billie Eilish in a tank top began circulating the internet along with some lewd comments.

Although the sexualisation of her body has kept her in baggy clothes, it's not actually the reason she started wearing them. In an interview with Gayle King for CBS, Billie admitted that like a lot of teens, she first started covering up aged 14 because of her relationship with her body.

"Me and my body's relationship has been the most toxic relationship you could even imagine," she explained. "The way that I dress has made that relationship so much better. It's less about 'My body is ugly, I don't want you to see it'. It's more about, 'I'm not comfortable wearing this, I'm comfortable wearing this.'

"And I don't mean physically, literally like, feels soft. I mean, like, your mental comfort."

Although Billie loves wearing her baggy-fitted clothing now, she has previously stated that she would be open to showing more of her body when she turns 18 next week (18 Dec) and becomes a "woman".

To be honest, Billie can wear whatever she wants and she should still command the same amount of respect.
