Drake claps back after being booed off stage at Tyler, the Creator's Camp Flog Gnaw

Tyler, the Creator fans booed Drake off stage after they expected Frank Ocean to appear at Camp Flog Gnaw instead.
Drake has responded to the backlash he received for surprising audiences at Tyler the Creator's Camp Flog Gnaw Carnival.
When Tyler, the Creator announced the lineup for his popular Camp Flog Gnaw Carnival this year, it included massive names such as Solange, BROCKHAMPTON and FKA Twigs. However, the poster for the festival also teased a mystery headliner as the final performer. This led many fans to guess that Tyler's friend and former Odd Future bandmate Frank Ocean would be making an appearance. However, on Sunday (Nov 10), Drake co-headlined Camp Flog Gnaw and Frank did not show up.

During Drake's set he was booed off stage by disappointed fans and now he and Tyler have addressed what happened.
In video footage from the event, Drake can be seen telling the audience: "You know I'm here for you tonight, like I said, if you want me to keep going, I'll keep going tonight, what's up?" He then repeats himself: "If you want me to keep going, I'll keep going tonight."
However, as opposed to being met with cheers, the audience scream "no" at Drake and boo him until he says: "It's been love. I love you all. I go by the name of Drake. Thank you for having me," and leaves the stage.

Tyler responded to the backlash Drake got for appearing first. Taking to Twitter he stated: "I THOUGHT BRINGING ONE OF THE BIGGEST ARTIST ON THE FUCKING PLANET TO A MUSIC FESTIVAL WAS FIRE! BUT FLIPSIDE, A LIL TONE DEAF KNOWING THE SPECIFIC CROWD IT DREW. SOME CREATED A NARRATIVE IN THEIR HEAD AND ACTED OUT LIKE ASSHOLES WHEN IT DIDNT COME TRUE AND I DONT FUCK WITH THAT."
He then added: "THAT SHIT WAS LIKE MOB MENTALITY AND CANCEL CULTURE IN REAL LIFE AND I THINK THAT SHIT IS FUCKING TRASH".

Drake had the last laugh though. Following the event, he took to Instagram to roast the people who booed him. He shared a selection of photos from the event with the caption: "Plot twist... just signed a 10 year residency at Camp Flog Gnaw sorry kids see you EVERY SINGLE YEAR till you are 30".
