Miley Cyrus appears to hint that a Hannah Montana reboot is in the works

Miley Cyrus appears to have lowkey confirmed that a Hannah Montana reboot is in the works... well kind of.
Ever since Hannah Montana first aired on Disney back in 2006, it quickly became an international phenomenon. Fans around the world, couldn't get enough of Miley Stewart (Miley Cyrus) and her double life as a high school student and a global teen pop sensation. The show ended in 2011 and Miley famously said that "Hannah Montana is dead" on SNL in 2013 but now it looks like Miley is resurrecting the beloved Disney character.
Is a Hannah Montana reboot happening?
As it stands, there is no official confirmation on a Hannah Montana reboot but eagle eyed fans have noticed that there's now a brand new Hannah Montana account on Instagram with the handle: @hannahmontana. Considering that the name Hannah Montana is trademarked by Disney, it seems very likely that the company are planning something exciting and first guesses from fans are that it's a Hannah Montana reboot.
If that weren't enough to persuade you that a reboot is happening, Miley Cyrus actually likes (well liked) the account. Fans of the 26-year-old noticed yesterday (Mar 25) that she was following the account on Instagram. Since then she has unfollowed it but that could be due to fans finding the account before anything has been officially announced. Strangely enough, Miley also tagged the account in a recent post.
The account is currently blank with the title HM.

Of course this could all be coincidence but, given that hit shows like Drake & Josh and That's So Raven have all been, and are being given, the reboot treatment, it seems plausible that Hannah Montana could be making a comeback too. Seeing as Miley has now had a break from the show, she may actually be excited to return to it, whether that's in the form of a new series, film or something else.
Adding fuel to the fire, Miley took to Twitter on Sunday to celebrate "the 13th anniversary of the first HM episode to air". Not only that but she posted an adorable photo of her as a child getting ready to film the series. Again she could just be getting nostalgic, but there is a chance that Miley is getting ready to return to her roots. Fans have also noticed her posting many Disney throwbacks lately.

If a Hannah Montana reboot is happening, it's currently unclear who will be in it, but we shall update you as soon as there are any updates. With over 15,000 followers on the Instagram account already, it's clear that there is demand for it.
