The band are set to reunite for a one-off show, Like Phantoms Forever, in December 2020. Tickets are on sale Nov 1.

Well, it looks like there may have been some truth to Joe Jonas's claims because it's official: My Chemical Romance are reuniting! They are back together. This is not a drill. This is real life. It's happening.

Announcing the news on their official Twitter account which has been a bit quiet for quite some time, the band are set to play a one off gig at the Shrine Expo Hall in Los Angeles on December 20. Tickets are set to go on sale tomorrow, November 1, at 12pm EST.

It will be their first performance since 2012. They split up in March 2013.

Fans have been expecting a reunion ever since the 10th anniversary of The Black Parade album but after some movement on their social accounts, it was confirmed that the band were only dropping a re-release as a gift to the fans. Earlier this year came the 15th anniversary of Three Cheers For Sweet Revenge but this time, there was no movement.

Until today.

Fans have been glued to MCR's social accounts following a change of profile picture – and now we know why!

Back in June, Joe Jonas set the MCR fandom alight when he revealed that the band were ~allegedly~ rehearsing next door to Jonas Brothers. At the time, fans didn't think there was any truth to the rumour.

In response to those claims, Frank Iero also called Jonas Brothers a "Disney band" during an interview on The Zach Sang Show and seeming quashed the rumours. He later said “anything is possible.”

And now we find ourselves here, staring at a tweet confirming that very news. Look at us. Hey, look at us. Who'd have thought? NOT ME!

IT'S A HALLOWEEN MIRACLE!
