Selena Gomez responds after Bella Hadid deletes Instagram post she commented on

This is SO awkward.

When Selena Gomez recently started following Bella Hadid on Instagram, we all thought it would be the start of a beautiful celeb friendship. But, we guess not. Bella just deleted an Instagram post that Selena commented on and no-one knows what to think.

A little history for you, both Bella and Selena dated The Weeknd. The supermodel has been in an on/off relationship with the singer for four years and they are rumoured to have finally called it quits in August 2019. There were even more rumours that the couple had rekindled their relationship again after The Weeknd attended Bella's 23rd birthday party in October, but his rep confirmed to People that they are "just friends". Meanwhile, Selena dated The Weeknd during a break from Bella from January 2017 to October 2017.

Although they never appeared to be BFFs, Bella unfollowed Selena as soon as the news broke about her relationship with The Weeknd. Selena then returned the favour by unfollowing Bella in March 2017, only re-following her in November 2019.

So, now Selena seems to be trying to play peace maker here and befriend Bella (who never followed her back on Instagram by the way – awks). Bella shared a snap of herself captioned "It's a Dior thing," and Selena liked the photo and commented "Stunning" on it, alongside a heart emoji. Aww.

But, soon after Selena left the comment, Bella deleted the entire post. Now, obviously that doesn't necessarily mean anything. Maybe Bella just didn't actually like the pic…

Whatever the reason, Selena's fans are incredibly suspicious.

If there is a “fued”, it’s one sided, lol. Selena followed and likes her shit, and sometimes comments so she obviously doesn’t feel there’s beef, but if Bella does, she hasn’t bothered to clue Selena in on it. 🤷🏻‍♀️

Selena has now responded to the Bella drama on Instagram. The singer commented on a post from a Selena fan account, showing Bella's deleted image and Selena's comment. She then commented: "That sucks 😢."
