Um, that escalated quickly…

Last night (June 12), Love Island introduced us to two new bombshells – Maura Higgins and Elma Pazar. The arrival of the new brunettes threw a massive spanner in the works for the other Islanders, who had already marked their territory.

Maura and Elma were tasked with having three intimate dates with the boy of their choice. Each guy was delegated to prepare a starter, main course, or dessert. Maura and Elma chose Micheal Griffiths, Danny Williams, Tommy Fury and Anton Danyluk for the dates, whilst everyone else awkwardly watched from the balcony.

However, it was the sexual chemistry between Tommy and Maura in particular that had all the Love Island viewers talking. When the duo had a conversation over Tommy's, um, tasty starter of cheese, bread, ketchup and mayonnaise, the conversation got a little hotter.

Maura asked if Tommy had kissed Molly-Mae Hague yet, because the two had been getting to know each other since Molly entered the villa. Tommy said that he hadn't, and she cheekily replied: "I would have jumped on that."

And then, when her date was over, Maura pulled Elma over for a chat about their date whilst Tommy and the rest of the boys started preparing the next courses in the kitchen.

"They look so fucking fit," Maura said. "I'm having fanny flutters I'm not joking. I wish he was eating me. I can hear him screaming my name!"

Yep, Maura did not come to play and her use of the English language didn't go unnoticed by Love Island viewers.

But, what is fanny flutter?

In case you didn't know, fanny flutter is the slight tingling sensation a person with a vagina will get down below when they see someone they have a sexual attraction to. The tingling sensation could range from contractions in the vagina to actually feeling like you're going to have an orgasm. The feelings might suggest that they have sexual chemistry with the other person, or want to have sex with them.
