Cole Sprouse asked Riverdale writers to give him more kiss scenes with Lili Reinhart

Cole Sprouse also revealed if filming a Jughead and Betty kiss is awkward for him and Lili Reinhart.
Cole Sprouse has opened up about filming kissing scenes with Lili Reinhart on Riverdale and whether or not he enjoys them.
Fans of Riverdale will already know that Cole Sprouse and Lili Reinhart are dating irl. The two stars met on the set of the teen drama. Cole plays self-confessed "weirdo" Jughead Jones and Lili plays crime-solving queen Betty Cooper. Cole and Lili are on-screen lovers but it wasn't long before they fell in love off-screen too. The celebrity couple are pretty private about their relationship but they often share romantic birthday posts on Instagram and Lili even writes her own poetry about Cole.

Now Cole has discussed what it's like to kiss on-screen and even joked that he's asked producers to let him kiss Lili more.
Cole recently visited Live With Kelly and Ryan to promote Riverdale and they played him a clip of Betty and Jughead kissing. Kelly Ripa then asked Cole what's in the pipeline for Bughead this season, and Cole quipped: "A little bit more of that." Cole then joked that the producers of Riverdale are "contractually obliged" to make sure that Betty and Jughead have as many kissing scenes as possible. He added: "I wrote it into my contract."
Explaining what kissing his real-life girlfriend in front of an entire film crew is like, Cole said: "If we have a kissing scene, it's fine. We don't really think twice about it... It would be more nerve-wracking if you had to make out with someone that you didn't know. So if by chance we do end up having to kiss each other, it's fine and it doesn't feel weird." Okay...come to think of it that actually makes a lot of sense.
So it's official. Cole and Lili are still one of the sweetest couples alive. We continue to ship them.
