How can we be sure that Lili Reinhart and Brittany Murphy aren't related?
Celebrity doppelgängers aren't uncommon in the world of showbiz. We've got Katy Perry and Zooey Deschanel, Jessica Chastain and Bryce Dallas Howard, Niall Horan and Ellen Degeneres (just kidding) but the internet has just realised that Riverdale's Lili Reinhart has a celebrity lookalike and we can't believe we never made the connection before.
While Riverdale fans have been silently losing their minds over the likeness between Miss Betty Cooper herself and actress Brit Morgan, who plays Penny Peabody on the show (Betty and Penny are deeefinitely related, right?), it turns out that a much more mind-blowing Lili look-a-like already existed.
Remember actress Brittany Murphy? The legend who starred in seminal classics such as Girl, Interrupted, Just Married, 8 Mile and Clueless. Murphy sadly passed away in 2009 at the age of 32 but people cannot get over how much the two actresses look alike. And now the internet has pointed it out, we cannot unsee it.

This isn't a new revelation, but thanks to Lili's sudden glo-up at the Met Gala, a LOT more people know who she is now - and they're all talking about the eerie likeness. It's not new to Lili either, she has addressed the similarity before in an interview with Buzzfeed.
When asked who her celebrity doppelgänger was, she replied: "Everyone says Brittany Murphy — everyone. They think I’m her reincarnated. There are a lot of pictures of us side by side where we look crazy–alike. If you just google Lili Reinhart and Brittany Murphy, you’ll see it."
