After 4 seasons, Riverdale is finally doing a Halloween episode - and everyone's costumes are iconic.

For the first time in Riverdale history, we're finally getting a Halloween-themed episode complete with comic book costumes and plenty of terrifying drama.

The next episode of Riverdale, titled 'Halloween', will air on Wednesday October 30th and will centre around Archie's Halloween party, the mysterious case of the video tapes showing up on everyone's doorsteps and Cheryl discovering something horrifying at Thistlehouse.

Some of the Halloween costumes have already been revealed, with Cheryl and Toni dressing as Poison Ivy and Harley Quinn alongside Archie as Pureheart the Powerful and Mad Dog as The Shield. Betty, as seen in the trailer, looks to be dressed as Laurie Strode from Halloween.

The season 4, episode 4 episode synopsis reads: "When ominous videotapes begin appearing on doorsteps across Riverdale, widespread fear quickly returns to the town. At Stonewall Prep, Jughead learns about a series of mysterious disappearances involving former students at the school.

Meanwhile, Archie’s plan to create a safe space for the town’s kids gets derailed when some unwanted visitors crash their Halloween party. Elsewhere, Veronica comes face to face with trouble, while Betty’s past comes back to haunt her.

Lastly, a haunting at Thistlehouse rocks Cheryl and Toni to their core."

A haunting at Thistlehouse sounds like my worst nightmare, to be quite honest.

Because it's Riverdale and they can never let anything die, the Gargoyle King also reappears in this episode – but it seems to be one of Betty's hallucinations. However, Chic (who was unveiled as the Gargoyle King in season 3) isn't dead... he's in jail so who knows? Maybe he'll be back?!

This episode will also introduce the creepy sailor Blossom doll called Julian. And considering Nana Rose's comments in episode 3, could he have something to do with 'the triplets'? Are Cheryl and Jason actually two out of three triplets and not twins like we thought this whole time?! I'm scared.
