Emma Mackey gives her verdict on whether Otis and Maeve are endgame.

Netflix's Sex Education dropped today (Jan 17) and the question on everyone's lips is whether Otis and Maeve can put their issues aside (and Ola...sorry Ola) and get together. The world wants, nay, demands it.

After the will-they-won't-they drama of season one, and then Otis' new relationship with Ola, fans were heartbroken with how it ended between them. Things definitely weren't looking great for a happy ending in season 2.

To help us put this issue to rest, we asked Emma Mackey, who plays Maeve, to give her definitive opinion on Otis and Maeve's relationship. And, guys, prepare yourself for more heartbreak.

Talking to PopBuzz, Emma said: "To be honest, I'm Team Maeve and Aimee".

She then added: "This boy and this girl need to do a bit of growing up on their own. They need to sort out what's going on in their lives. They've got a lot of stuff to figure out. And they obviously care about each other a lot, and they get each other, and that's something that's really lovely and warming and touching to see. But I do think they need to be on their separate paths for a bit until they figure out. That's my honest opinion."

Asa Butterfield, who plays Otis, had similar opinions on the future of Maeve and Otis' relationship, saying: "They really get each other. And they get each other better than anybody else, aside from my man over here [Eric]. But who knows? I want to see where it goes."

PopBuzz also sat down to chat with Patricia Allison and Tanya Reynolds, aka Ola and Lily, to discuss their characters in season two.

Speaking of the journey that Ola and Lily go on with their sexualities, Patricia said: "I didn't know what to expect at all but I was very satisfied with how it turned out. It's unexpected and joyful."
