Lange will be reprising her role of Constance Langdon in the eighth season.

IT'S OFFICIAL! Jessica Lange is now confirmed to be returning to American Horror Story: Apocalypse. And no, we're not lying. Our dreams have finally come true.

At the TCAs on Friday (August 3), it was revealed by Sarah Paulson that Lange will be reprising her role of Constance Langdon in the upcoming eighth season of the show, aka the Murder House/Coven crossover season. And she'll be in the episode directed by Paulson herself.

The confirmation comes after years of speculation over whether or not Lange would return to the anthology series. Her eventual return in this particular season was teased by Murphy earlier this year when he revealed that he'd already asked past cast members if they would return for the crossover season.

“I want all of them,” he said. “I want Dylan, and Connie and Jessica [Lange]. They’ve all said — Kathy Bates, too — everybody who is involved in the show has always said, ‘Yeah, that sounds like fun, let’s get the band back together again.’ So that is one of the reasons why the writing process of that season is taking longer because it’s literally 25 people’s schedules. But I’m hopeful they will all be back.”

No other details about her return as Constance have been released, but for now, it sounds like she'll be in one episode and will probably appear with Michael Langdon (played by Cody Fern), her grandson who also happens to be the anti-Christ.

LANGE IS BACK, BABYYYYYYY!
